Itasca, IL, October 2025 – ImPACT Applications, Inc., announced the release of ImPACT Version 5, an update to its flagship computerized cognitive test. The new version builds directly on customer feedback to deliver a more customizable, and user-friendly testing experience for both clinicians and test takers. 

Key Enhancements in ImPACT Version 5 

Customizable Demographics – Administrators can now choose which demographic questions appear during testing, allowing for a more streamlined and relevant data collection process. (This feature is available exclusively in the new ImPACT Customer Center). 

Randomized Word Lists – Word memory test module now draws from a large pool of word pairs at random, reducing memorization effects and enhancing the accuracy of memory performance measurement. 

Refreshed Interface – A cleaner, more consistent design improves visibility, navigation, and the overall testing experience for both clinicians and test takers. 

Importantly, existing normative tables remain valid, and results from ImPACT Version 4 are fully comparable with those from ImPACT Version 5, ensuring continuity for organizations already using ImPACT in their concussion management programs.
