Where Balance Fits
What's New
Since you last heard from us, we added Balance to the ImPACT platform. It's an FDA-cleared vestibular assessment that adds objective balance data to concussion management, alongside cognitive and symptom evaluation.
Interest in Balance has been strong among colleges and universities. As NCAA member schools continue evaluating and updating concussion management protocols, many are looking for additional objective data points to support assessment and recovery decisions.
Why Balance Matters
Balance impairment is a common component of concussion and may persist even after symptoms improve. Objective balance assessment gives athletic trainers additional data to inform return-to-learn and return-to-play decisions, complementing existing cognitive and symptom assessments.
Built for the Sideline
Balance runs on mobile and works independently of cognitive testing, so you're not locked into a full lab setup every time. Athletes can complete an assessment in minutes, wherever your team is.
See If it's the Right Fit
If ease of use or sideline flexibility has been a concern when evaluating concussion management options, this is worth a look. We built this because programs told us speed and portability mattered as much as the data itself.
ImPACT Applications, Inc., a Riverside Insights® company, is the maker of ImPACT, ImPACT Pediatric, and ImPACT Quick Test, all FDA cleared medical devices that assist in the assessment and management of concussion. See our milestones here and access our press releases here.
